Exhibit runs September 1 – October 2, 2009

Main Art Gallery, CSUF Visual Arts Center, 800 N. State College Blvd., Fullerton CA

Redefining the Line showcases the graphic design, illustration and installation work of ten international contemporary artists: Pomme Chan, Deanne Cheuk, Naja Conrad-Hansen, Aya Kato, Pandarosa, Marguerite Sauvage, Alberto Seveso, Sonya Suhariyan, Yoshi Tajima and Eveline Tarunadjaja. It investigates the influence of historical Art Nouveau on contemporary art by featuring works by artists who use both traditional and digital media, demonstrating the impact designers and illustrators have made on our visual culture. These artists successfully merge the fine art and commercial art worlds, applying fine art techniques and art historical ideas to commercial avenues geared towards fashion, music and popular culture. Curated by Alexandra Duron and Sarah Strozza.

* I'm pretty excited and quite scared to be part of this exhibition among those amazing artists that I watched and awed over the years. If you are in the area, please come, check it out and report it back to me as I won't be able to make it. >_<
